The award was announced during "Sustainability LIVE: The London Summit", held in London on September 8. The outcome was determined by a jury panel comprising 18 international senior sustainability executives from world-leading organizations such as Google, BBC, Schneider Electric, RELX, Mercer, SUEZ, Currys, Merck Life Science, and Suntory Beverage & Food.
The fact that this award was won in 2026, the year Türkiye is hosting COP31, adds special significance to this accomplishment.
